The Black Bough, Ludlow

I am busy making a second order for the Black Bough, Ludlow. The first, delivered before Christmas, proved very popular. The gallery opened last Spring and has put a lot of effort into selecting work, displaying and promoting it.

When you walk into the BB, which is in a rather quaint part of Ludlow, just off the market square, it is light - not at all cluttered, even though quite small. Owners, Alex and Adam, have sensibly kept their selection tight and this works well as a whole. They have mixed contemporary ceramics, prints, textiles with vintage items including watches - which are a particular strength.

Visit them and Ludlow for a lovely day out - the produce market held on Fridays just outside the Castle walls is a highlight as is The Green Cafe down by the river (check their opening hours as they have a winter break) where you can have a great lunch.
