White Gold – Porcelain at Nantgarw

White Gold Exhibition

I am delighted to be invited to exhibit at Nantgarw, a museum on the site of porcelain works dating back to the early 19th century close to Cardiff in West Glamorgan, Wales.

The show comprises work by fifteen potters using porcelain – my favourite clay – and shows how the qualities of  porcelain can be used to create a wide range of effects.

The show opens on Saturday, 31st May at 2pm, it would be lovely to welcome as many of you as are able; a talk by potter, Carys Davies follows the official opening at 3pm.

The event continues, with workshop events programmed, until 17th August 2014, I hope you’ll enjoy a visit. For directions take a look at the museum website.

Herefordshire Art Week – takes place in September every year. This year the dates are 6th – 14th September 2014. The arts week offers free access to over 120 studios and exhibitions. Herefordshire’s arts scene is lively and,  if you love the arts and you love touring Herefordshire, take a week off and set off,  guide in hand.

I will be opening my new studio in Ledbury: a large open-plan space that also houses Belatrova. Peter Arscott and I will be at the studio to welcome visitors throughout the event. To make sure you can find us we have directions here on the website and there will be the customary bright pink signs on the road to guide you to the pottery.

From late July you can take a look at who is participating on the h.ARt website, the printed guide will be available at roughly the same time, if you prefer a “hard” copy. Pick one up at Tourist Offices and Libraries in the county.
